Carbon footprint of composting sites
All greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions related to an activity are taken into consideration and accounted for in a carbon balance sheet provided by SEDE.
Energy, excluding energy (GHGs defined by the Kyoto Protocol), inputs (necessary for production), future packaging, freight (all types of freight in, out, internal), travel (employees and visitors), direct waste, immobilisation, use, end of life, etc.
Every single emission produced by a SEDE composting platform is converted to CO2.
